Image Source Weddings are my favourite: a big party and the celebration of true love. Does it get any better than that? With my dad and step-mom’s wedding less than a year ago, I’m still reeling from that wedding planning excitement. Whatever else you might have planned for your wedding, you can be sure that you are also going to be concerned with how everyone looks — not least yourself, the bride and groom. Of course this is actually quite hard to get right, and it can take a lot of time and effort to ensure that all the people involved in the wedding are looking their best. There is not much that you can do about the guests of course, but when it comes to the wedding party itself, there is always something that can be done to improve how everyone looks. One huge influence on your outfit plans will be the venue. Are you getting married in a Church, so require traditional attire, or have you enlisted the help of adventure elopement photographers and wedding planners Adventure Instead, so need something a little more terrain and weather appropriate? Whatever the plans for your big day, below we are going to take a look at just some of the things you can do to ensure that all of your wedding party truly do look their best at all times… during what is likely to be the biggest day of your life. But first, if you are in the process of planning the wedding of your dreams, it is so important to find a photographer who can put you at ease and take beautiful photographs to commemorate your big day. Contact Olga Topchii if you’re looking for a photographer NYC – she took photos at one of my friend’s weddings and did such a fantastic job! So, what should everyone be wearing?
Bride & Groom
First things first, let’s look to the most important of all: the bride and groom. Clearly, one of the biggest decisions overall is the dress, and this is something which you should be looking into early on, if you are to ensure you’ll be really happy with your choice. If you are, it is something that you will be able to put at the back of your mind until the big day itself, which is really helpful. The same is true for the groom’s suit, although that is probably not going to take quite as long to get right. Finally, make sure that you are happy with whatever jewelry the two of you are wearing. You could be wearing your engagement rings at the start of the day (see https://www.whiteflash.com/engagement-rings/tacori for more on that) or you might want to keep your hands bare for the wedding rings themselves. Either way, it’s important to make sure you have considered it thoroughly.
It’s equally as important to make sure that the bridesmaids all look their best as well, and this is something that you will need to plan out well in advance. After all, you need to try and get everyone to agree on what to wear to the best of your abilities. If you can get this done early on, you will find that the wedding day itself is much less stressful; if nothing else, the bridesmaids’ dresses do tend to form part of the theme for the day itself. They are both part of the wedding party’s colour and theme, so make sure that you are truly happy with how they look beforehand, to avoid any worries later on (see https://www.hitched.co.uk/bridesmaids-dresses/ for more).
Getting the groomsmen ready is much easier, though in some cases, it takes a little more convincing to be able to get it right. At least there is only one choice to make, as they are likely to all be wearing the same suit on the day. Get that choice right, and you’ll find that you can be much happier with the day itself.
